HORSTMANN hopper belts are at the same time hopper and conveyor belt and are used as intermediate storage for sorted recyclables. Several bunker belts are usually located under sorting platforms, where the individual recyclable materials are fed manually or via conveyor belts.

According to the requirements and space conditions, the volume (length, width, height), the conveying capacity is designed.

An electrically driven, hinged and lockable bunker door is mounted at the delivery end. This makes it possible to transport the recyclable materials to the gate by cycle operation in order to match the material volume to the bunker volume.

The very stable, torsion-resistant framework is made of folded sheet metal with welded-in cross sections. The bunker belt is designed as a sliding belt conveyor. Optional, for higher loads also “rolling“ removed.
